RAFAH, Gaza Strip (AP) — The border crossing between Egypt and Gaza opened Saturday to let in 20 of the over 200 trucks of aid waiting to provide assistance to the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. Aid workers said 20 trucks were insufficient. More than 200 trucks carrying roughly 3,000 tons of aid have been positioned near the crossing for days. Gaza's 2.3 million Palestinians, half of whom have fled their homes, are rationing food and drinking dirty water. Hospitals say they are running low on medical supplies and fuel for emergency generators amid a territory-wide power blackout. Israel is still launching waves of airstrikes across Gaza that have destroyed entire neighborhoods. The opening came after more than a week of high-level diplomacy by various mediators, including visits to the region by U.S. President Joe Biden and U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres. Israel had insisted that nothing would enter Gaza until Hamas released all of the captives from its Oct. 7 attack on t...Saints fan takes her shot at Jimmy Graham

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — A New Orleans Saints fan is taking a page out of Taylor Swift's book and shooting her shot at a date with an NFL player.Ashley Hollier attended Thursday night's game at the Mercedes Benz Superdome between the Saints and the Jacksonville Jaguars. At the game, she thought she'd take her chance and get a message to tight end Jimmy Graham. Sitting in the first row of section 139, Hollier, wearing a #80 Graham jersey held up a clever handmade sign reading, "Not Taylor Swift but can I date a tight end? #GimmeJimmy." ‘Good luck’ goodies to help with New Orleans Saints slump Hollier told WGNO's Kenny Lopez that she decided to make the sign because, "I feel like a sports quote appropriately sums it up. You miss 100% of the shots you don't take." She thought it would be fun to play off of the whole Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce romance, since Kelce is a tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs. No word yet on whether or not Jimmy Graham saw the sign at the game or the pictu...Tesla says Cybertruck deliveries will finally start Nov. 30

In an ideal scenario for the Twins, Alex Kirilloff would be healthy and the Twins would be able to rely on him to see much of the action at first base next year. But Kirilloff began this season on the injured list rehabbing from wrist surgery and he ended it on the injured list with a shoulder injury that will require surgery on Oct. 24. That could make first base one of the more interesting positions to watch as the Twins work through the offseason and then head into spring training.2023 RECAPWith Kirilloff on the injured list to begin the season, veteran Joey Gallo drew the Opening Day start at first base. Gallo, whom the Twins signed to a one-year deal last season, played in 51 games at first base. The strikeout-prone Gallo had a great month of April before tailing off.Donovan Solano, another veteran whom the Twins signed to a one-year deal, actually logged more innings at the position than any other player last season.Solano performed quite well, hitting .282 with a 110 OPS+, whi...5 dead and 5 injured — names on a scrap of paper show impact of Gaza war on a Minnesota family
