Oakland police seeking two persons of interest in fatal shooting near Uptown District OAKLAND — Police have identified two people who they say are persons of interest in last week’s fatal shooting of a man near the Uptown District and are asking for the public to be on the lookout for them.The shooting happened June 21 about 6:30 p.m. in the 400 block of 26th Street and ended the life of 27-year-old Daly City resident Matheus Gaidos. Police released Gaidos’ identity Tuesday.Authorities released separate images of a man and a woman taken on the day of the shooting but did not release detailed descriptions of the pair.
