Fremont: Woman dies of injuries suffered in May 12 crash FREMONT – Police are investigating a traffic collision that left a woman dead in mid-May.The solo-vehicle crash was reported May 12 around 4:30 p.m. at Kato Road and Auburn Street, the Fremont Police Department said in a statement Wednesday. The driver, identified only as a 57-year-old woman, was taken to an area trauma center.Several days later, the Alameda County Coroner’s Office notified police that the woman had died.Police said alcohol was a factor in the crash. Man found dead in driver's seat after overnight collision in Santa Rosa (KRON) -- A 37-year-old man was found dead in the driver's seat of a vehicle that had crashed near a veterans building on Tuesday night, according to the Santa Rosa Police Department. Police determined that around 11 p.m. on Tuesday night, the Tundra was heading north on Brookwood Avenue when it suddenly veered west, off the road, through a parking lot and into the fence.
