CHICAGO — A 15-year-old boy is dead after a shooting in Little Village late Sunday afternoon.According to the Chicago Police Department, a 15-year-old boy was near the sidewalk in the 2200 block of South California Avenue around 4:11 p.m. when he was approached by a white-colored vehicle.Police said a person inside the vehicle then opened fire on the 15-year-old, hitting him in the chest.He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital where he was pronounced dead.Police have no one in custody. 3 killed in fiery crash near Michigan City after driver hits disabled car No other information is available at this time.If you or someone you know has information that can help police make an arrest and conviction in the investigation of this incident, anonymous tips can be filed online with CPD at cpdtip.comRound Rock claims Texas 7-on-7 high school football championship

ST. LOUIS -- The Gateway Arch served as the backdrop for the Grand Pride Parade, an epic march in support of the LGBTQIA+ community. The procession started at the corner of 8th and Market Streets, and ran through the Pridefest grounds, before wrapping up at the intersection of Market at 15th Street.Thousands of people were on hand to see the creative talents of those involved in the parade. A 36-year-old woman has been arrested on charges of torture and child abuse causing death in connection with the death of her infant daughter, authorities announced on Sunday. The incident unfolded on Saturday, June 24, when deputies with the San Bernardino Sheriff’s Department responded to a home in the 11400 block of Russet Place just after 2 a.m., according to an SBSD news release. At the residence, deputies found 7-month-old female infant who was not breathing. Deputies performed life saving measures on the child until paramedics arrived and transported the infant to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead at 3:11 a.m. Authorities said that both deputies and medical personnel noted physical trauma to the infant that was consistent with child abuse. At that point, detectives from the sheriff’s Specialized Investigations Division – Homicide detail assumed the case. Police arrested a man and a woman in connection to the armed robbery of a 16-year-old boy in South Miami-Dade, an incident that was recorded on video later posted on social media.According to Miami-Dade Police, 18-year-old Jayden Sanders called the victim on June 18 and asked if he wanted to go to the beach.When the teen agreed, investigators said, Sanders and a car full of passengers picked the victim up.At around 2:30 p.m., police said, they got to the area of Southwest 353rd Street and 18th Avenue, and that’s when Sanders pulled the car over.Investigators said Sanders, 21-year-old Kaya Burgos and a third person pulled out a rifle and two semi-automatic guns and pointed them at the victim’s head.An arrest report states Burgos began demanding the victim, “Give up all that [expletive], referring to his sneakers, gold neck chain, camera, and iPhone XR.”Investigators said the victim eventually got away, ran home and told police the next day.Burgos and Sanders w...Latest news
