AURORA, Colo. (KDVR) -- A $4,000 reward is being offered after the murder of a 13-year-old boy in Aurora earlier this year.Phoenix Day was shot and killed in the parking lot at the Town Center at Aurora mall on March 26. Police catch 18-year-old driving 108 mph near Boulder Investigators said they have spoken to some witnesses, but believe there were other people in the area who saw what happened and haven't come forward yet.Phoenix had moved from Arizona to live with his mother and her husband shortly before he was killed. Hostage negotiators were on scene in Worcester as of around 12 p.m. Friday after police said a man shot two of his family members and then shot at police before running into a nearby home. The incident happened on Colby Avenue. Police said the man shot at his family members and later opened fire on police when they tried to arrest him. The man, 21, then barricaded himself in the home, according to police. Police said the family members who were shot were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The officers who were shot at are also OK, according to police.
