Man found dead after climbing at Officers Gulch, SCRG said DENVER (KDVR) -- A man was climbing near Copper Mountain Saturday and was found dead Sunday after a friend reported him missing, according to a release from the Summit County Rescue Group.A friend of the 29-year-old climber said he knew he would be doing a climb near Officers Gulch, locally known as Officers Wall, but said the climber did not specify the exact area, according to SCRG. 16-year-old arrested, accused of first-degree murder, aggravated robbery The climber's friend said he called around 5 p.m. saying he was on a rock and was heading back down soon, expecting to return at 6:30, SCRG said. 11 arrested for suspected DUIs in first day of Labor Day weekend SAN DIEGO -- Just over a day into the Labor Day weekend, California Highway Patrol officers have already arrested 11 drivers on suspicion of driving under the influence in the San Diego area, the department confirmed.These arrests come during CHP's period of maximum enforcement, which was implemented to post additional officers posted across the state to ensure roadway safety during the holiday. Enforcement began at 6:01 p.m. Friday, Sept. 1 and will continue through 11:59 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 4, according to the agency.During the weekend, law enforcement will be keeping an eye out for traffic violations while assisting motorists get to their destination safely.
