A wildfire sparked in Grand County on Tuesday afternoon when hay bales along U.S. 40 caught on fire. The owners of the Gaylord Rockies Resort and Conference Center in Aurora where metal ductwork collapsed into a pool area, injuring six, will hire a contractor to investigate what happened, authorities said Tuesday morning.Two of the six suffered life-threatening injuries. MARTINEZ — A Contra Costa County District Attorney’s report on the death of a 47-year-old man who went into medical distress while being handcuffed by Richmond police officers in 2021 found that officers did not cause the man’s death, the agency said Tuesday.Ivan Gutzalenko, of San Francisco, died on March 10, 2021, after officers found him bleeding from his palms and agitated before putting handcuffs on him in the 12600 block of San Pablo Avenue.
